John Peter Mehr, Jr. may be gone but will never be forgotten. He was a man that thoroughly enjoyed making people laugh and enjoying life. Everyone always called him "the life of the party".

John was always a free spirit, never liking to confirm to societies ideals, but rather doing what made him content with life. He choose to be content in life and do what brought him happiness. May more of us learn the value of that. Life is so short and precious. I pray everyone can value it and enjoy it like John did.

With his passing, John is leaving behind a legacy of a man that lived his life to it's fullest under any given circumstance, A legacy that is full of laughter and boosting people's spirits.

John shared good humor and a big smile with everyone he met. Even though people often cursed at his practical jokes or snickered silently when they sounded ridiculous, he was an integral part of creating a solid foundation of friendship in our group. When times were difficult, he could always put a smile on his mother's face. He danced and partied in the city he loved most- Vegas - all the way up to his departure. It's the way I will always remember him.
