Daniel was born to Charles "Almy" Mott and Kathryn Ann Mott on April 24, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT. He deeply loved the outdoors and camping. He enjoyed his time working with the Cub Scouts and teaching outdoorsman skills to the young men. Having a roving spirit, he moved from place to place living his life as he chose. He made Las Vegas his final residence returning to his Maker by the lake he loved. His body was recovered in the Desert Lake Mead National Park on July 8, 2021, resting peacefully in his tent. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Debborah and David Mott. He is survived by his children: Charles Mott, Nicole Mott, Michelle Mott, Daniel Mott, and Chantelle Mott. He is survived by his grandchildren, Savannah, Natalie, and Hayden Mott. He is also survived by his brothers and sister and sisters-in-law: Dennis (Betty) Mott, Diana Mott, Karl (Sandi) Mott, and Dean (Paula) Mott. No services are scheduled.
